A new category "gauges" is created to ensure fitting hardware can be tested with small, quick-to print models before they are committed to larger, final assemblies. Hex-nuts are notorious for problems in sizes - specially the plastic ones.

Teaching a software class with an icon based UI is a freaking nightmare. You're like this icon here... or try to describe what it looks like. "The icon with the three dots and an arc" . Text menus are so much easier to teach! I noticed the wikipedia screenshot was after it went to windows and they made things a toolbar with icons

@Waitman Gobble For industrial stuff like rails and extrusions OpenSCAD is superior. On my wiki I am building a series of "tutorials" around four tie-plates used in building construction to nail two-by-fours together. This is what I am currently focusing on, existing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware used to bolt - snap - glue together industrial structures such as shelves, framing, slides, railing, etc. Threaded rods, nuts and bolts, plates, pipes - all are good sources.

I only have 24 hours in a day, but I am slowly building a library of useful OpenSCAD scripts.

The infrastructure is stable, the Linode VPS are migrated and no issues for the last few days. The three Hubzilla forums are online, and the registration process is working.

I am going to spend some time with 3D-Printing and FourOh-MSC.
