The text of my post:
The short answer is "the too decentralized is plausible". The long answer is:
Assuming anything about what China does and why is unwise, especially if you were never exposed to Asian cultures and heritage.
I grew up in the 70s and the 80s in Hungary, under Soviet occupation. Only because Soviet-style Socialism is ingrained in me - I am not just "educated" about Socialism and Communism, I was indoctrinated with it, I lived in it until I was 19.
I see huge, alarming differences between Soviet-style and Chinese-style communism, too many to explain here. But the "Cultural War" in the History of China point to a lot of those fundamental differences. In some way, China and Communism is a prefect match made in Hell, I am afraid China going remain Communist till the end of times no matter what - China LOVES Communism.
Again, I have my own federated forums where I post about these things - what I post here may disappear without a trace. My own Forum is fully under my control.
As the matter of fact I took a screenshot of this screen, because my posts with "China" in it sometimes disappear.
