Hey guys, Archimedes recommended I come where, and he asked me a question about why China is (apparently) trying to kill crypto. We had a short discussion I am not going to repeat here, but..
.. I am not into memes much, I understand their purpose - but they can be nauseating in excess. I rather debate and even argue, my all-all time favorite tools are Dokuwiki and email.
My purpose on forums is to find a dozen or so people who are GNU/Linux (Debian) experts, willing to discuss building a nationwide, owner-operated network starting at Layer 3 (our own DNS over VPS in different countries and ISPs), a service stack such as YunoHost, and a federated forum such as Hubzilla. The reason I prefer Hubzilla is because it allows us to build an isolated Realm - although communication between Realms still non-existent. But its a start, still only Layer 3.
I work in Manufacturing, and I have plans to make these owner operated networks not only self-sufficient but profitable, by dual purposing it as a supply chain / expert pool resource. There is a way to bridge the DNS with block chain using ENS, and there is a cheap, affordable way to recruit and advertise using the Brave network.
Profit can be generated until we can afford to build a tiny data center over dark fibre in select locations were available - and start building out a township / county based national Layer 2 network.
So on and on, yada yada.. I have built and I am using the Layer 3 for myself, its based on Debian / BIND and LDAP managed via Webmin (essential to reduce the learning curve), then YunoHost, and via YunoHost - Hubzilla. This can be changed of course, but this is my current service stack.
I would be more than happy to discuss this.
